Ward Sutton's Take on the NY Mayoral Election

I like this not so much for the attempted Thomas Frank parallel, (I don't particularly like Thomas Frank, and you should read this instead,) but more because i think it does a good job of summing up why the Bloomberg campaign is so problematic no matter how many gestures the mayor may make in the next month.
