Yesterday's New Haven Register Headline: Yale Graduation Takes Over City.

Today, Evan Cobb describes a New Haven under state surveillance, its traffic lanes completely colonized by Yale's rituals of self aggrandization and exclusion (and familial celebrations of accomplishment, with which i don't particularly want to tangle here,) so right now, i'm in hiding in my parents' apartment in NYC. I missed class day, but Josh's away message suggests that Burns wasn't bad - at least compared to Thomas "IHeart Empire" Friedman. I'm pretty sure i would have reacted less favorably than Josh, had i been there, but i wasn't, so it doesn't matter. "Pimp My Ride" is the best show ever.
