I just found out that Gloria Anzaldua died last week. This makes me very sad. I'm shocked that the so-called "paper of record" compeletely failed to report this, and I draw readers' attentions to this obituary from the Santa Cruz Sentinel and this moving online altar at which people have posted memories and emotions about Anzaldua's life and work.
