At this point, this editorial is pretty much ex post facto - coming, as it does, a week after Mayor Bloomberg forced UFPJ to agree to the West Side Highway location.  This editorial is nice, and everything, but it follows in the YDN tradition (not surprising given how many YDN alumni wind up running the new york times - ah, the elite corridors of informatized production) of coming out in support of contentious issues after the point has been essentially rendered moot.

 

On a completely unrelated note, sometime in the last few days, without me noticing, my sidebar seems to have returned to normal.  Rock!
