John Sexton's statement regarding the Bush NLRB that "even a broken clock is right twice a day" is intentionally deceptive. University presidents weren't handed down this decision by divine fortune. They lobbied for it. They lobbied for an NLRB amenable to throwing out the NYU decision. They wheedled and schmoozed and made deals and alliances. This decision happened in part because, law school recruitment policies aside, these universities - NYU, Columbia, Yale, Penn, Brown have been more than willing participants in the policies of the Bush administration in more ways than this one.
