It's just past 7 am, but someone in one of the apartments near me (they feel more like dorm rooms) is talking in an incredibly loud voice on the phone. Living in this place is very weird, because you can hear all kinds of movement from the other rooms because the walls are so thin, and sometimes when you're lonely you almost get reassured by the audible presence of others, and then you realize that, in fact, you don't know any of these people whom you hear, and that makes things worse, like you're in solitary confinement or something.
