Tonight's blog entry is brought to you by Ahleuchatistas' the same and the other, Guided By Voices' Bee Thousand, The Go! Team's Thunder, Lightning, Strike, Pinback's Summer In Abadon, The Shins' "Young Pilgrims" and Saint Simon," and The Clash's London Calling. And also Animal Collective's Sung Tongs
Simply calling this massacre of striking workers in The Phillipines an outrage can't begin to do justice to the horror and injustice perpetrated by the "landlord, big comprador bourgeoisie and capitalist classes."
Mass Ave is full of Yale sweatshirts and my now almost habitual walk up through cambridge was surreally interrupted with familiar faces. It felt bizarre and sleazy.
