i've thus far neglected to note how fucking amazing the new pixies song, "Bam Thwok," is. This was probably a critical oversight on my part, because it's fantastic. Does the fact that Kim sings on the band's first new song in like twelve years mean that Charles Thompson has lost a bit of his ego? (Of course, the fact that the pixies are back together at all probably suggests that this may be at least somewhat the case.) Anyway, the song rocks and you need to go listen now.
