Finally heard Game Theory, and Alek was right, it's great - maybe my favorite Roots album, and since they have six and the critical consensus seems to be that everything after was a step backward, i guess that's saying a lot. The only letdown is the dissapointingly cheesy J-Dilla tribute at the end, although "Atonement," the penultimate track is a bit too ballady and boring. The rest is impressive and unexpected, joining Yo La Tengo in the club of bands I thought were done but wound up putting out some of the best stuff of their careers this year.
