Not that it wouldn't be great if the Mets acquired Manny Ramirez (provided they don't have to strip their farm system to do so,) but why in god's name would the Red Sox be stupid enough to trade the best home-run hitter in the AL and the player who is currently leading all of baseball in runs batted in?
