Julie wanted me to do one of those "currently listening to" posts. I'm happy to oblige. I just heard Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor and it's quite good - though i think some of the criticisms Fennessy makes are spot-on. I just bought the new Decemberists album, but i haven't listened to it yet, so i can't offer much there. I bought this at other music for much, much less than Amazon's selling it for and it was definitely worth it. And then there's the new Yo La Tengo album, which everyone should hear, because it's freaking great. Other than that, i've been listening to Smokey Robinson and The Miracles' "The Tracks of My Tears" over and over again, Al Green's Greatest Hits, and Boogie Down Productions' Criminal Minded.
