David Brooks isn't bald. His hairline is merely receding. The Problem of Leisure sincerely regrets this oversight, which results from our deep-seated compulsion to change the channel whenever Brooks appears on television. We maintain our conviction that Brooks's right wing pseudosociology offers oversimplified and distorted shibboleths about american culture vilifying cities and depicting their inhabitants as youthful deluded hipsters or obnoxious aging yuppies. We wonder whether Mr. Brooks ever left the Yale campus during his visiting professorship in new haven. We (this is getting silly) much prefer La Jornada's David Brooks, as we have stated numerous times.
We kinda like Steve Greenhouse though.
