No way is Pleased to Meet Me a better album than Tim!
The former has four great songs and a lot of mediocre ones. The latter has three terrible songs and a lot of great ones. I love them both, but the idea that "One good dose of thunder" cancels out "here comes a regular" seems suspect..., as does the fact that an album that sounds as canned and as crappy as Pleased to Meet Me sometimes did (although i have not yet heard the reissue) could be the one cited as having better sound.
Also, it's kind of amazing that six plus years on, there's still a UOC for the YDN to complain about.
