I've been meaning to blog about this and this and this. Unfortunately, i'm swamped and sick, and i don't know when i'll get around to it. So let me instead briefly commemorate this, which happened six years ago today, and which i have been thinking about even through my post-nasal drip haze. That was a little too graphic and doesn't do justice what the movement did that day and in the years since. Not much can, which is why all the media accounts of that action, particularly the snarky one in the NYT to which i will not link here, completely misunderstood what was at stake and what was going on.
