So what, to my eyes, which are mostly ignorant of the particularities of Canadian Labor Law, seems like the Canadian equivalent of binding arbitration in the U.S., except the workers actually get to vote on whether or not to accept the proposed settlement, has produced a potential settlement to the T.A. strike at McGill, though again the union actually gets to vote on whether or not this is good enough to stop striking for.
