The WHO considers alternatives to international drug patent laws, University tech transfer czars object, the Huffington Post objects to their objections, and then they object to the Huffpo's objections to their objections. Lost in the equation, I'm sure, is the conversation about the casualized labor that produces the drugs but has no say in how the university and the corporations it partners with licenses and profits from them.
