Did you read the Julianne Shepherd piece i linked to yesterday? She points out that this is really the first incidence of the vocal interplay that they use so much on the later albums. The four "middle songs" on Call The Doctor - "Anonymous," "Stay Where You Are," "Good Things," and "I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone," are all amazing.
