NYU, exposed.

There's a new website that everyone should check out, particularly NYU students and NYU alumni and alumnae. This website goes into depth on how NYU works, its relationships with New York, its trustees, administration, finances, and endowment, and its real estate agenda. Particularly interesting is the article on tenure and gender, which asks "who is being asked to sacrifice for NYU's future?" and finds that

Three years into John Sexton's presidency, data show
that there are almost 30% more non-tenure track faculty than when Sexton became
president. NYU women make an average of 88¢ on the dollar that men make
for comparable work.
