The mets are on a minor winning streak. They're 8 games out of first place, but this is still good news. As a former Philadelphian and a strident phillies fan (at least, prior to Mike Schmidt's retirement) it's good they're doing well. Hopefully they will knock those fascist braves out of first. I hate those fuckers. I mean, c'mon. Chipper Jones? Fuck that guy!
